1995 Lakland USA 4-94. Cherry Sunburst finish over a quilted maple top. It's in very good condition. Supplied in a more recent tweed Lakland hard case - volume knob replaced. This bass is from the 1st year of production and has serial number 085.
Early features include: - string-thru-body bridge with no Lakland logo, jack output on the front of the body, the neck is secured with a neckplate
Other features included: a 1/4 sawn rock maple neck, an East Indian rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius and birdseye maple dot inlays. It has Bartolini pickups with a 3-band eq and series/parallel switching. Chrome hardware.
There are a few small dings on the body, particularly on the front of the upper horn. The back of the neck is very clean overall with just one small scratch on the upper edge by the 9th. The outline of a hipshot drop D tuner is visible under the E string tuner on the back of the headstock. The frets are in great shape with very little wear and have been cleaned and polished in our workshop.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of round-wound strings and low action allowing smooth playability. Serial 085. Weight 8 lbs 10 oz / 3.91 kg. Nut width: 38.3 mm. Depth at the 1st fret: 19.5mm.
