1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom in near mint condition with a cherry sunburst finish. 3-piece maple neck, with ebony fingerboard. Mahogany body with 3-piece maple top. It plays very well with a straight neck / low action and the truss rod works correctly. The original pat stamped pickups both date to August 1977 and have that classic vintage Les Paul Custom tone. Tons of sustain....go and have a bite and you will still be hearing it! generation 3 chainsaw case included.
It has very light signs of use with only one noticeable small ding and a few very light scuffs on the back of the body. The edges of the body and the headstock are near perfect. The back of the neck is immaculate with no marks or dings anywhere. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. It has pat number stamped pickups and the pots all date to the 25th week of 77. This guitar has been set up in our workshop and is ready to go. Nut width: 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.6 mm.
