1972 Fender Telecaster, Black

1972 Fender Telecaster in fair-good condition. The control cavity has been widened along a small section of one edge by a few mm. The output jack socket has been changed ( original in case) and the wires leading from the socket to the tone pot are also new. I had the neck pickup re-wound as it had failed. The rewind was done by Lee Lavarack of Lavarak guitars in Leeds.

There's a fair amount of play wear including numerous small scuffs and dings, mainly around the edge of the body. There is also light buckle rash on the back which has been touched up with what looks like a black marker pen. The back of the neck has only light signs of wear in comparison and the frets are in great shape with plenty of life left in them.

This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of strings and a low action. The neck is stamped Mar 72. Serial 325430. Both pots date to 66. Weight 7lbs 12.5oz. Nut width: 40.6 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.2 mm.  3-month warranty included.

Condition Fair-good 7.25/10
