1964 Fender Precision Bass with a Sonic Blue Refinish. The finish has been done well and according the previous owner was done by Fiesta Finishes in the USA. It has tortoise-shell guard with no cracks or breaks and a rosewood fingerboard with clay dots and original frets.
The changes: refinished, 66 dated pickups, bone nut, we suspect a replaced decal. 66 case. Small circular repair to the pickguard, just above the volume pot.

It has very little play-wear to the body with only a couple of small dings and light scuffs. The neck has play-wear through the finish and small dings/scuffs around the headstock. The original frets are in very good condition with very little wear. The bass plays very well with an even sound right across the fretboard.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'addario Chrome flat-wound strings and has a straight neck and a great action. Serial:L33522. The neck is dated June 64. The pots both date the 50th week of 64. The pickups have original winds. Nut width: 43.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.2 mm. Weight: 8lbs 2.5 oz.
