1979-81 Fender Precision Bass, Olympic White finish with a rosewood fingerboard. Excellent condition. Aside from a refret and a new nut, this bass is all original. Supplied in a hard case. I have dated the bass 79-81 because whilst the serial number indicates 1979, the pots and pickups date to 1981. This is common with Fender instruments from 78 through to about 1982, as leftover parts were used up.
The body and neck have a few light scuffs and general signs of playwear but overall are in fantastic condition. The headstock is very clean. The frets are in great condition with tons of life left in them. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works correctly.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with great action and a set of round-wound strings. Serial number: S904555. Weight: 10 lbs 14 oz / 4.93 kg. Nut width: 42 mm, depth at 1st fret: 22 mm.
| Condition | Excellent 8.75/10 |
