1955 Fender Precision bass, original Blonde finish in excellent condition, Maple neck and fingerboard. The single ply Bakelite pickguard is in great shape and fully intact with no cracks. All original and 100% stock including the original, Victoria luggage gig bag (and zips still work!) Also included is a tweed reissue hard case. All original down to the last screw. Very light, weighing only 8lbs 2 oz. Serial:1426. The pickup is still very strong. Nut width:43.5 mm. Depth. There is light lacquer checking throughout the body finish, a few small dings and some light buckle rash on the back of the upper horn.
Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound flat wound strings. It has a straight neck and the truss rod is fully operational in both directions. The frets are in excellent condition with very little wear and have been cleaned and dressed by tech. The fretboard itself is extremely clean as is the back of the neck and headstock. Body dates 2-55, neck 3-55. It has the initials TG - standing for Tadeo Gomez) tadeo Gomez is famous amongst players and collectors for the high quality of his work and his habit of signing his name or initials on the guitars he helped to craft. The pot dates are covered in solder but are most certainly correct.at 1st fret: 23.75 mm.
