1965 Gibson ES-330 TD in very good condition. Cherry red finish, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, block position inlays and nickel hardware. It has a wide nut (64 spec). It's been refretted and has a new bone nut. Otherwise, original guitar with no changes. It comes in a period-correct Gibson soft case.
The ES-330 shares the body shape of the ES-335, ES-345 and ES-355 and is a lightweight, lively-sounding guitar when played acoustically or plugged in. It's fitted with powerful P-90 single coil pick-ups, which are nicely balanced. This example has very little wear to the body, with just a few surface scuffs and tiny dings. The neck has wear on the back, but its worm smooth over time, so it's very comfortable in the hand. The headstock has a few scuffs and dings along the top edge. The frets are in excellent condition. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs.
This guitar has been set up in our workshop with great action. The pots are all correct with unbroken solder. The pickups are nicely balanced with a lovely warm tone from the neck pickup and a crisp bite from the bridge. Weight 6 lbs 1.5 oz / 2.76 kg. Serial: 334278. Nut width: 42.5 mm.
