1975 Rickenbacker 4001 with a Mapleglo finish in exceptionally good condition. All original and 100% complete with the exception of the missing pickup cover. Original case also included. Serial number: OK 7734. (Nov 1975) All-round lovely bass.
The finish has only one very small area of buckle rash on the back edge and only a couple of very tiny, barely noticeable dings. The back of the neck and headstock are in near-mint condition with just a tiny ding at the very corner. front edge. The frets are in great condition overall having been cleaned and polished in our workshop and have plenty of life left in them.
Fully set up in our workshop with a set of round-wound strings and a great playing action. The neck is straight and the truss rods work as they should. All electronics are in good working order with no issues. There's some minor tail lift at the bridge which is very common - it does not affect the playability. The Pickups, pots and hardware are all original. The pots all date to the 35th week of 74. Weight 9 lbs 0.5 oz / 4.1 kg. Nut width 41.9mm. Depth at 1st fret 21.8mm.
