1978 Fender Precision Bass, Antigua finish, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard. All original with period correct case.
This bass is in very good + condition. There are a few small bumps and scrapes to the finish and some light buckle rash on the back, but nothing major. There's a small split in the guard coming from the jack socket. The neck is clean. The headstock has a few tiny dings on the top edge. The frets have been dressed in our workshop and are in great condition with plenty of life left in them. Really nice neck with fast playability. Plenty of thump and growl in the tone.
Fully set up with a smooth action. Serial: S863197. Both pots are dated the 10th week of 78. Weight: 9 lbs 8.5 oz / 4.32 kg. Nut Width: 41.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.5 mm.
