Sell or consign your instrument and we can collect it from you!
Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars, specialists in vintage basses and guitars, offers a collection service in the UK, USA and EU.
To get started, firstly, sellers need to complete the relevant form on the ‘Sell Your Gear’ page, provide some basic information about their instrument, such as the make, model, and condition, and upload photos of the instrument. Andy will then be in touch to appraise the instrument, agree on terms and – if everyone is happy - arrange a collection.
Collection Options
You Pack and Send
Sellers can pack and send the item themselves or Andy and the team can arrange the collection with his preferred national courier. If you’re in the UK and getting the right packing materials is a problem we can send you a packing box and materials. If you’re outside the UK you will need to arrange a packing box and materials yourself.
UK Collection
We use Lenspeed Logistics to collect instruments from throughout the UK. Whether it's an individual instrument or a collection, we've got you covered!
USA Collection
Andy’s partner in the USA is based in Tampa, Florida and can arrange collection across the entire country within any state.
EU Collection
With Brexit causing unnecessary transportation issues to the UK, we can arrange for our colleague in Belgium, Dries, to work out the logistics.
The collection service is just one of the many ways that Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars makes it easy for sellers to sell their vintage guitars and basses. Andy also offers a free appraisal service and is available to answer any questions sellers may have.
“I’m passionate about vintage guitars and basses,” said Andy. “I want to make sure that these instruments end up in the hands of people who will appreciate them. That’s why I offer our free collection service and our other services to make the selling process as easy as possible for our sellers.”
