1988 Fender AVRI '62 Jazz Bass in excellent condition, Black finish Tortoiseshell guard and a Rosewood fretboard. This bass is a fantastic player with a great medium/low action, fantastic tone and clean frets. The Tortoise pickguard, looks, to my eyes to be from the early '70s and the case is from the '90s.
There's very little wear on this bass and all hardware and electronics are in good working order. The frets are in great shape with virtually no wear. The neck dates to December 1988. The pots all date to the early '80s, the pickups have original winds.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of strings. Serial number: V031099. Weight: 9 lbs 2.5 oz. Nut width: 37.75 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20.75 mm.
