1983 Fender American Vintage Precision Bass - Fullerton factory, '62 reissue in very good condition. A great playing bass and it's nice and light, weighing only 8lbs 7oz / 3.83 kg. Period correct features include a nitrocellulose 3 tone Sunburst finish, wide c profile Maple neck rosewood fingerboard, Tortoise guard, spaghetti logo and reverse gear tuners. march 4th, 1983 neck date, Aug 8th, Feb '83 body date. This bass is all original with the exception of the newer pots and late 70s Fender case. The bass displays light play wear with a few small scuffs, mainly around the edges of the body. The Sunburst finish has faded slightly on the front leaving more of a 2-tone look. The finish on the back is still very much 3-tone. It's been fully set up with a great action. The pickup output is nice and strong. Nut width: 44.6 mm / depth at 1st fret:20.2mm.
These are great playing and sounding P-basses. The closest you're going to get to the real thing at a fraction of the cost.
