1983 Aria Pro II SB-R80 bass in exceptionally good condition, serial 3052371. Made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan. Weight 9 lbs 9.5 oz / 4.35 kg. Nut width 43.2 mm, depth at 1st fret 20.8 mm.
If anyone can enlighten me as to the exact name of the finish I would be grateful. I have searched old Aria catalogues and the only reference to this finish I can find is "GY" ( I presume the G stands for gold?)
All original, with a few tiny bumps here & there, but overall in really incredible condition! This is a neck-thru bass. It feels great and plays amazingly well. The neck is straight with low action. The tone is warm and punchy.
