1979 Music Man Stingray bass in excellent + condition. Natural finish with a maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2-band EQ and through-body stringing. All original aside from the strap buttons, nut and case.
There are a few very small scuffs/dings in the finish, mainly around the edges of the body and headstock but nothing major. The back of the neck is in superb condition as is the fretboard. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The original frets are in excellent condition with hardly any wear and have been cleaned and polished in our workshop. This is an all-round excellent bass. It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of round-wound strings and med-low action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck.
This bass has been fully checked over and set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'Addario 45-105 round wound strings. Serial number: B010765. Weight: 10 lbs of 8 oz / 4.76 kg. Nut width 42.4 mm. Depth at 1st fret 21mm. The body date stamp is very difficult to read and there is no visible neck date. The pots all date to late '78. The truss rod is fully working with plenty of room to move.
