1979 Ovation Magnum 2 in very good + condition. Original case and owner's manual included. The case handle is missing and in its place is a home-made replacement. The Magnum 2 has a Mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard and features onboard active electronics along with a 3-band EQ.
Cosmetically it's in great condition overall but does display a few chips and dings around the edges of the body and one or two around the top edge of the headstock. There is a brass plate around the jack socket. This is presumably because that area of the pickguard had cracked. It's a very clean and professional job and doesn't look out of place.
It's been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of nickel Rotosound round-wound strings. The frets have been dressed and have plenty of life left in them, the neck is straight and the truss rod works as intended. Nut width: 40.7mm. Depth at 1st fret 21.9 mm Serial: B 2529. Weight:10 lbs 13 oz / 4.9 kg.
