1977 Gibson RD Artist Bass in good condition. Natural finish, maple fretboard, serial: 73537055. All original, including the case. Original Moog circuitry. Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of nickel La Bella round-wound strings. Nut width 41 mm. Depth at 1st fret 21.5 mm. The weight is 11 lbs 10 oz / 5.27 kg. This bass guitar was made at the Kalamazoo Plant, MI, USA. Fantastic bass with a wide range of tones.
There are a fair few small scuffs, dings and patches of wear, mainly around the edges of the body and on the fretboard. There's light playwear on the neck and a few small dings on the top edge of the headstock. The neck is straight, the action is low, and the truss rod works correctly. The frets are in good condition, having been cleaned in our workshop. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs.
Maple set neck and body, custom-designed active electronics with built-in compression/expansion, bright and neutral modes. 3-way pickup selector. 34 1/2 inch scale.
