1977 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition. Olympic White finish with a black pickguard and a maple fingerboard. Original Fender hard case included. It has original pots, pickups, hardware and frets. The only changes seem to be one of the strap buttons, the metal pickup cover and 2 extra holes that have since been filled and touched up from someone re-positioning the strap button. (one on the heel of the body and one on the tip of the lower horn)
The finish has a few small scuffs and dings, mainly around the edge of the body with a larger area of finish wear along the back edge at the butt end of the bass. The back of the neck is very clean with very little wear, the headstock has a few light dings around the edge. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and polished in our workshop and there's plenty of life left in them. Above all this bass plays and sounds great, it has a warm tone with plenty of thump.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of round wound strings. It has a great playing action. Serial S746127. Weight 10lbs. Nut width: 41.9 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.65 mm. Both pots date to the 27th week of 76. The neck stamp reads, 0103-0373, which dates it to the 3rd week of 77. The pickups date to 1977. This is a great bass, don't miss out. Supplied with a 3-month warranty.
