1976 Rickenbacker 4001 with a White finish with original case Serial number: PJ 6974. (Oct 1976) All-round lovely bass.
It's missing the pickup cover and has a newer pickguard. Original case included. The finish has some wear in a couple of spots to the front face and dings around the edges. It has also yellowed quite a bit in places.
Fully set up in our workshop with a set of black tape-wound strings (Inspired by watching Get Back) and a low playing action. The frets are in great shape showing and have been clean and polished. All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues. The Pickups, pots and hardware are all original. The pots date to early-76. Weight 9 lbs 2.5 oz. Nut width 41.2mm. Depth at 1st fret 23.1mm. Supplied with a 3-month warranty.
