1974 Fender Jazz Bass with a Sunburst finish in good condition. Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, pearl block inlays and white binding. Both pickups have been rewound and the pickup cavities slightly enlarged (presumably to accommodate different pickups at some point) The pickguard is also new. It also looks like its had a re-fret.
Great bass to play with tons of growl and the tone is fantastic. With both pickups and tone up full this bass really sings with loads of top-end, the mids punch through and the bottom end holds it all together.
The finish has a fair few scuffs and dings to the body finish, mainly around the edges. The headstock also has a few scuffs around the edges. The frets have very little wear. The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.
Fully set up in our workshop with a low action giving great playability. The pots all date to mid 74 Serial:605783. The pickups and neck stamp date to 74. Weight: 9 lbs 3 oz. Nut Width: 37.6 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.1 mm. 3-month warranty included.
