1973 Fender Jazz Bass in excellent condition. Sunburst finish, maple fingerboard with black blocks, Tortoiseshell guard. It has a rewound bridge pickup, but is otherwise all original, including the case.
This is a very nice example of a vintage Fender Jazz Bass. The finish has a few light scuffs and small dings, mainly around the edges, but is otherwise in great shape. It has a fantastic neck, which is very clean. The frets are in great condition and have plenty of life in them. The headstock has a few very small ding/scuffs along the top edge, but is overall very clean.
This bass is a joy to play with a superb, even sound right across the fretboard; it has a straight neck, and there's tons of room in the truss rod. It's been fully set up in our workshop and is strung with a fresh set of La Bella Nickel roundwound 45-105 strings. Weight: 9 lbs 8 oz / 4.31 kg. Serial: 394330. The neck date is the 37th week of 72. The pots all date to the 29th week of 1973. Nut Width: 37.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm.
