1971 Fender Precision Bass, with a Sunburst finish and tortoiseshell pickguard. It has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. All stock and original other the solder on the tone pot (there was an added ground wire which was unnecessary so I removed it). Original hard case included. (the Fender badge is missing from the case) It's very light weighing only 8 lbs 5.5 oz.
Great straight neck and clean frets in excellent condition with very little wear. Warm tone with plenty of growl. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. The body has a few small bumps and scrapes around the edges but nothing major and some light buckle rash on the back. The neck and headstock are very clean with only minor wear around the edge of the headstock.
Fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound nickel round-wound strings and a low action giving great playability. Serial 299971. The pot's date to the 16th week of 1971. The pickups date to 71. Nut width: 41 mm. Depth at the 1st fret: 22.45mm.
