1968 Fender Precision Bass in very good condition with a sunburst finish, tortoise-shell guard and a rosewood fingerboard. The metal covers are not original, and 'it's fitted with a 70s finger rest, otherwise original and supplied in a period-correct case. 3-month warranty and 14-day approval period included.
The body finish has minor playwear and a few battle scars, mainly around the edges and some buckle rash on the back. There are two filled small holes from repositioned strap buttons( one next to the original strap button position and one on the inside edge of the upper horn.) The back of the neck has only light playwear. The headstock has a few light scuffs/dings.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with low action and a set of flat-wound strings. The frets have been dressed and have plenty of life left in them. The truss rod works correctly. Serial: 248588. The neck stamp reads AUG 68 B. The pots are dated to the 17th and 31st weeks of 1966. Both halves of the pickup date to August '68. Nut width: 41.8mm.
