1966 Fender Champ

1966 Fender Champ in very good condition. This amp is 110V and comes supplied with a new step-down transformer. This little black-era Fender amp delivers five watts of pure tube tone through its recently re-coned, period correct Oxford speaker. (dated to 1967)

It has a sparkling clean tone which goes into lightly compressed overdrive once the volume is pushed beyond 5. There are some small scuffs in the tolex mainly on the back and a couple of small nicks in the grille cloth.

The amp was fully serviced in late 2020 by Mac Amplification in Leeds. It's had a 3 pin power cord fitted and the death cap removed. The pots have been cleaned and lubricated. All the valve bases have also been cleaned and re-tensioned. All components have been checked for tolerance and the valves tested. During the service it was noted that the amp has had a few caps replaced using good quality components and to a good standard.

The tube chart code is missing but the original transformers date to early 66. The original pots have a mixture of late 65 and early 66 date codes. Serial: A05125. Weight: 7.73 kg

**Used amplifiers come with a 30-day warranty**
