1966 Ampeg B15NF

1966 Ampeg B15NF in good condition. 30 watts. Serial:039865. It's fully serviced with a 30-day warranty. It is powered at 240V so there is no need for the usual step down transformer. Ideal for low volume studio work. It has quite a few bumps and scrapes with various small patches of tolex missing. I have patched in a 4" x 1" patch of tolex onto a section of the cabinet along the top of the back edge. With the exception of the dolly, everything is here, the light up logo, the chrome Ampeg logo on the front of the cab and a dolly. The latches work as they should with no issues. The cab is single baffled. Most importantly of all the sound is fantastic. This amp won't disappoint in terms of sound or looks. Don't miss out on getting that cool Motown sound.

During the service, my tech changed the power transformer as it had given up! The replacement is housed in an original Ampeg can so it is not noticeable and is 240V, so the amp can be used in Europe without a step-down transformer. (the mains plug is changed for a 3 pin UK plug) he aslo changed the power chord from a two pin to a three pin, added a new Ampeg lid handle and removed the so-called "death cap" and fitted an earth tag to make it safe. Also noted: All the tubes have been changed, it has GE Electric preamp and rectifier tubes which are USA made and it has 2 Russian made power tubes. The circuitry is otherwise all original and in great condition.

Condition Good 7.75/10
