1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier in good condition. The original Oxford 12" speaker drives 20 watts. The amp runs on USA power, 110V. It comes supplied with a new step-down transformer and foot-switch. It was serviced in June 2021 by Mac Amplification in Leeds. All tubes and components were tested, All valve bases were clean and lubricated. During the service the following notes were made: some new capacitors fitted, the death cap has been removed and a 3-pin power cord fitted. The reverb driver is new (all the other transformers are original)
The sound is amazing, it has a super warm tone with lush reverb. There is general wear and tear including some rusting to the metalwork and a few scuffs and tears in the tolex. There is also a large area of tolex missing from the underside. The grille cloth has a few marks but isn't torn anywhere. There is also some slight pitting to the faceplate. This is the perfect amp for gigging, recording, or just using at home.
The speaker is dated to the 7th week of 1964. The transformers all date to early 1965. The pots have a range of dates from late 64 through to mid 65. Weight: 15.98 kg. Serial number: A06827. 30-day warranty included.
