1964 Gibson EB3, Cherry *Converted From An EB0*

  • Sale
  • Regular price £1,750.00

1964 Gibson EB3, Cherry *Converted From An EB0*. Supplied with a hard case. There's light wear and tear, including small scuffs and dings, mainly around the edges of the body and headstock, and a small repair by one of the bridge posts, but overall it's in good condition. The Cherry finish is still very vibrant and has some light lacquer checking.

This bass started life as an EB0 model (1 neck pickup), and at some point, had the control cavity enlarged to accommodate the extra pots and varitone switch. The body was also routed for the bridge pickup. The parts used are correct Gibson parts and period correct.

The frets are in excellent condition, the neck is straight with no issues, and the truss rod has plenty of room to move. All electronics and hardware are in good working order. It's been fully set up in our workshop with a set of flat wound strings, and the action is set nice and low. Serial number: 204514. Weight: 7lbs 9.5oz / 3.45kg. Nut width: 43.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 23mm.

Condition Good 7/10
Case HSC
Weight 7lbs 9.5oz / 3.45kg
