1962 Fender Champ-Amp, tweed finish, original 8" speaker has been re-coned, 5F1 circuit, very good condition. Made in Fullerton, California, the tube chart sticker is mostly missing. Serial #C19478. The transformers date to late 61 and early 62.
This is a very fine example of an early ''60s Champ. It's a compact vintage tube amp, only 30cm high, 34cm wide and 18cm deep. These amps Perfect for the studio or any other low volume situation for getting classic tube overdrive tones, they have a snarled sound and break up perfectly. This amp runs at 110V and is supplied with a step-down transformer.
It's in full working order without issue having been fully serviced by our amp tech and comes with a 30-day warranty. During the service, the so-called "death cap" was disconnected and a 3 prong power chord added. My tech also noted that all else is original other than the pre-amp tube. 2 new filter caps and 2 new cathode bypass caps.
