1956 Fender Precision Bass, 2 Tone Sunburst



1956 Fender Precision bass, 2 tone Sunburst, Maple fingerboard. All original and 100% stock including the original gig bags ( zips still work !) Also included is a tweed reissue case. This really is a stock piece. Untouched solder joints and 100% down to the last screw. Excellent condition and very light, weighing only 8lbs 3.5oz. Serial: 16349. Nut width: 43.25 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 23.75 mm. Soft V profile.

Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound flat wound strings. It has a straight neck and the truss rod is fully operational in both directions. The frets are in excellent condition with very little wear. The fretboard itself is extremely clean as is the back of the neck, headstock and hardware. Body and neck both date 5-56. The date on one pot is visible and it dates to 1955, the other pot date is covered in solder. The pickup is still very strong.
