1998 Rickenbacker 4001 V63 in Jetglo in excellent condition with the original silver case. The horseshoe pickup surround has been removed and is supplied in the case.

Rickenbacker excelled with their vintage reissue series. These 4001 V63 Basses are some of the best they ever made. The production of these basses began in the '80s and the V63 is the forerunner to the C64. It was based on the 4001S basses used by McCartney and Chris Squire and featured no binding, dot inlays, a toaster pickup at the neck, and a horseshoe at the bridge. They are excellent, well-made instruments at a fraction of the cost of the vintage originals.

This Bass, as already mentioned, is in excellent condition - aside from a few small scuffs and light scatches on the back of the body. The frets are in great shape with very little wear. All hardware and electronics are in fine working order. The truss rods are fully functioning and the neck is straight with fantastic action, having been set up in our workshop. The bass is strung with a fresh set of La Bella RX-S4A stainless steel 40-100 round-wound strings. Serial: S1 7306. Weight: 9 lbs 1.5 oz / 4.12 kg. Nut width 43.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 22.5.
