1976 Gibson bicentennial Firebird, Sunburst finish, very good +condition. Other than an added strap button at the heel it's all original including the case. The neck pickup is not stamped with a Patent number but it is original and an unstamped neck pickup is not uncommon on these Bicentennial Firebirds. You can read more about that here:http://www.heliotricity.com/firebird-pickups.html
It has the Firebird I style unbound neck with dot inlays, dual Firebird mini-humbuckers, banjo tuners, stop tailpiece, gold hardware throughout and a red, white and blue bicentennial Firebird emblem on the pickguard. The dual Firebird mini-humbuckers deliver a more open, chimey take on the classic Gibson humbucker sound.
It has general light play-wear to the finish with some dings and light scuffs which are mainly around the edges of the body and headstock. There are a couple of extra screw holes on the edge of the bridge pickup rout. Everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The hardware is relatively clean with only minimal wear. The pots all date to early 76.
