1973 Fender Jazz bass in very good + condition. Black finish, maple fingerboard, white guard. All original, including the case.
This is a very nice example of a vintage Fender Jazz bass. The finish has a few scuffs and small dings, mainly around the edges, but is overall in great shape. It has a fantastic neck with very little wear. The frets are clean and have plenty of life in them. The headstock has a tiny patch of wear on the top edge, but is otherwise clean.
This bass is a joy to play with a superb, even sound right across the fretboard, it has a straight neck, and there's tons of room in the truss rod. It's been fully set up in our workshop and is strung with a fresh set of La Bella RX-N4D nickel round-wound strings. The pots all date to the 10th week of 1973. The pickups are also dated to 1973. Weight 9 lbs 2 oz / 4.14 kg. Serial: 386891. Nut Width: 37.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20 mm.
