1964 Fender Jazzmaster, serial: L25763. Olympic White finish with a matching headstock in good condition. All original, including the case. It has a beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard and a rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. It has a really nicely flamed neck. It's an amazing guitar to play, and it sounds fantastic.

The body finish has a few small nicks and dings, mainly around the edges of the body, as well as some lacquer checking, but remains clean overall. The finish on the back of the neck is very clean and has a nice flame in the wood. The headstock has a few small dings but nothing major, and everything remains structurally sound with no breaks or repairs. The logo has some wear, and some letters are missing, as well as "offset contour body". The pickguard is in great condition with only minimal shrinkage and minor warping. The frets have been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. All hardware and electronics are in good working order, including the truss rod, which works correctly.

This guitar has been set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'Addario strings and a medium-low action. The neck is dated APR 64 B. The tone pot dates to the 21st week of '64, the volume pot, 10th week of '64. Both pickups are original with original windings and are date-stamped June 1964. Weight 7 lbs 13 oz / 3.55 kg. Nut width: 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21 mm.

The Jazzmaster was launched in mid 1958 as the top of the range Fender guitar, and featured Fender’s first neck with a rosewood fretboard. It's an incredible Rock’n’Roll and Surf guitar and was a firm favourite of 90s bands like Nirvana, Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine.
