1989 Rickenbacker 4003, red finish with black hardware. Exceptionally clean and all original including the case. 4003 basses with this finish are rare and were only produced for a few years in the mid to late 80s and early 90s.
This Bass is in good overall condition. There are a few very small scuffs/marks to the finish, mainly around the edges of the body but overall it's in remarkable condition. The frets are in great shape with very little play wear. All hardware and electronics are in fine working order. The truss rods are fully functioning and the neck is straight with fantastic action having been set up in our workshop with a set of round-wound strings. Serial J2 6632. Weight 9lbs 1.5oz. Nut width 42.5mm. Depth at 1st fret 21.85 mm.
