1983 Fender American Vintage Reissue '62 stack knob Jazz Bass, made in the Fullerton factory. Excellent condition. Aside from a new pickguard, it's all original, including the case. Serial: V015699. Weight: 9 lbs 7.5 oz / 4.3 kg. Nut width:38.5mm. Depth at 1st fret:21mm.
Nitrocellulose finish in 3 colour sunburst, lightly tinted maple neck with a 1962 U shape. Tortoise pickguard, Rosewood fingerboard with 7.25-inch radius and vintage frets, vintage-style Jazz bass pickups, stacked concentric control knobs, vintage-style hardware. The condition is excellent with only the tiniest of bruises and small scuffs to the finish, mainly around the edges. The neck has some wear through the finish, and the headstock has a couple of tiny dings on the top edge, but nothing major. The finish has lacquer checking throughout. The frets are in excellent condition with lots of life left in them. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works correctly. All electronics and hardware work as they should.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with low action and a fresh set of La Bella nickel roundwound 40-100 strings.
