1987 Ken Smith BT4 in a very rare silver finish. The bass is all original. It's supplied with a hard case. It's in good condition but does show numerous signs of cosmetic wear. The frets are in great condition, having been dressed in our workshop and have plenty of life left in them.
Given the solid finish, the woods used are a mystery, but it's very light, weighing only 8 lbs 5.5 oz / 3.78 kg. It has the classic BT preamp with the original jazz pickups. It has that classic Smith tone. Also included are the Smith strap and strap locks.
It's been set up in our workshop with a set of Ernie Ball strings. It has a low action and plays beautifully. Serial: 87328. Nut Width: 39 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5 mm.
