1971 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass

1971 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Bass with original case. Very good condition. Serial 2073.

This space-age model was built from Lucite as part of a collaboration between Dan Armstrong and Ampeg. These models featured a bolt-on neck and clear lucite body. In the early '70s, these basses were seen strung around the necks of bass players such as Phil Lynott and Geezer Butler.

This one is in great condition with very little wear and tear. The tone pot has been changed and the output jack but everything else is original including the case. It also comes supplied with a handy truss rod wrench.

It's been set up in our workshop with a great action. Nut width: 41.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.2 mm.

Condition Very good  8.5/10
Case OHSC
