2001 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray, NAMM 100th Anniversary in exceptionally good condition. This is a limited edition bass from Ernie Ball and is number 68 of 100 made and has serial number B015657. It comes supplied in the original case with a certificate of authenticity.
All made within the first couple months of 2001 a total of 100 were made: 49 stayed in the US, 49 to overseas locations, 1 retained by Ernie Ball and 1 to NAMM organisers. Inca Silver finish with Black Pearloid pickguard. It has a Status Graphite neck with a phenolic fretboard. Officially introduced on 18 Jan 2001 at the winter NAMM show, Anaheim, California US.
This particular example has just one small chip in the body paint on the edge of the lower bout but is otherwise in near-mint condition with very little evidence of use. The frets are in great condition with minimal signs of wear.
Fully set up in our workshop with a set of Ernie ball 45-105 strings and very low action. Weight: 9 lbs 14 oz / 4.49 kg. Nut width: 43.4 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.7 mm.
