2001 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray, NAMM 100th Anniversary. This is a limited edition bass from Ernie Ball and is number 16 of 100 made. Weight: 10 lbs 5 oz. It comes supplied in the original case with certificate of authenticity.
All made within first couple months of 2001. Total of 100 made: 49 stayed in US, 49 to overseas locations, 1 retained by Ernie Ball and 1 to NAMM organisers. Inca Silver finish with Black Pearloid pickguard. It has a Status Graphite neck with phenolic fretboard. Officially introduced on 18 Jan 2001 at the winter NAMM show, Anaheim, California US.
This particular example has a few small dings in the body finish and the same around the top edge of the headstock. One chip in the body paint on the edge of the lower bout and the same around the anniversary coin thats inlayed in the headstock front. The frets are in great condition, the fingerboard has light wear from 1-7.
Fully set-up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie ball 45-105 strings and a very low action. Nut width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.7 mm.
