1983 Music Man Stingray in Excellent + condition. Black finish with a maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ. Supplied in a new Gator hard-case. It has a new nut, otherwise all original & complete. The serial number is B025254. Weight: 9 lbs 6.5 oz. The neck pocket is stamped September 21st 1983. The neck has no date. The pots are a mixture of dates from '82 and '83. The truss rod works as intended with plenty of room to move. Nut Width: 42 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20 mm.
Minor signs of wear to the body, including some light scuffs and minor dings. There's also some slight wear to the edge of the fretboard on the bass side. The back of the neck is incredibly clean. The headstock is mostly clean but does have some minor lacquer flaking on the edges. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. This is an all-round excellent bass, the sound is warm and punchy. It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball 45-105 round-wound strings and has a great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck.
