1982 Music Man Stingray in near-mint condition. Natural finish, black pickguard, maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2-band EQ. All original, including the hard case.
The body finish is extremely clean with just a couple of very small dings on the lower edge. The headstock is also extremely clean. The back of the neck, fretboard and frets are all immaculate apart from a couple of tiny spots of wear on the lower edge of the neck. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The electronics work perfectly, and all hardware is in excellent condition. The truss rod works correctly without issue. This is an all-around excellent bass.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball round-wound strings and has a great action, allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. The serial number is B023267. Weight: 9 lbs 14 oz / 5.19 kg. There are no dates present in either the body or the neck. The pots are a mixture of 80 and 81 dates. The truss rod works as intended with plenty of room to move. Nut Width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20.5 mm.
