1980 Music Man Sabre bass in very good condition. White finish with a maple neck and fretboard. Black pickguard, 2 band EQ, Contoured body, 2 humbucking pickups, internal micro powered pre-amp, brightness + phase in/out and pickup selector switches. All original aside from the output jack socket and the mute pads. Original case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The body finish is in very good condition overall with just a few small scuffs and tiny dings but show some discolouration in places. (along the bottom edge from perhaps a stand and on the back cutaway, possibly from the case) The back of the neck and the fretboard are in excellent condition. The headstock is also fairly clean with just a few small dings around the edges and some lacquer checking.
The neck is stamped, Aug 16 1979 and the body, Mar 25 1980. The pots are dated to mid '79. The frets are in good shape with life left in them and the truss rod is fully operational with plenty of room to move. The neck is straight and plays smoothly.
