1979 Music Man Stingray bass in exceptionally good condition. Sunburst finish with a maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ and through-body stringing. I have replaced the string mute sponge with the correct material as it was missing. It comes in a non original hard-case. Dunlop strap locks fitted. Otherwise all original and complete. It comes with 3-months warranty and a 7-day returns policy.
There are only the lightest signs of use with light wear and tear including a couple of small and very light scratches in the body finish and and tiny bruises. The neck and fretboard and are extremely clean. The headstock has some light scuffs along the top edge. All the hardware is still shiny. Everything remains structurally sound with breaks or repairs.
The body dates to March 16th 1979, the neck dates March 26th 1979. Two of the pots date to the 4th week of 79 and one to the 41st week of 78. The frets are in great shape and the truss rod is fully operational with plenty of room to move. The neck is straight and plays smoothly.
This bass has been fully checked over and set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball 45-105 round wound strings. Serial number: B013093. Weight: 10lbs 5oz. Nut width: 42 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20 mm.
