1979 Musicman Stingray in good condition. Black finish, Black pickguard, Maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ, non-epoxy preamp and through-body stringing. It has a changed nut, All original and complete other than the missing string mute sponge. ( this can easily be replaced if needed) and non-original case.

There are a few scuffs / small dings to the finish and lots of lacquer checking. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The serial number is B013721. Weight: 10 lbs 13 oz. The body date is Jan 26th 1979, the neck date is May 2? 79 ( difficult to read 2nd digit of the day of the month) The pots have a mixture of dates in early to mid 79. The truss rod is fully working with plenty of room to move. The action is set nice and low.

This is an all-round excellent bass, the sound is warm and punchy. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of strings and has a great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. Nut Width: 43.25 mm. Depth at 1st fret 20.15mm.
