1979 Music Man Sabre bass in near-mint condition. It has a black pickguard, a 2-band EQ, 2 humbucking pickups, an internal micro-powered pre-amp with brightness + phase in/out and pickup selector switches. All original, including the case.
There are a couple of very minor wear and tear but overall its extremely clean. The truss rod is fully operational with plenty of room to move. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. The electronics work perfectly, and all hardware is in excellent condition. This is an all-around excellent bass.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball flatwound strings and has a great action, allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. The serial number is C002504. Weight: 10 lbs 2 oz / 4.59 kg. The body date is July 1979. The neck date is June 1979. The pots are dated to mid-79. Nut Width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 20.5.
