1977 Music Man Stingray. It's in excellent condition and has a natural finish, a black pickguard and a maple neck & fretboard. It is equipped with a 2-band EQ, epoxy-coated preamp and through-body stringing. Other than a new ground wire and 1 piece of mute sponge the bass is all original and is supplied in an original tweed Music Man case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day returns policy.
The body and neck have hardly any wear aside from some lacquer checking. The fretboard has only light wear and the headstock has some small dings/scuffs around the edges. The frets are in good condition and have been cleaned and dressed in our workshop.
It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Ernie Ball round-wound strings and has great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck. The serial number is B005062. Weight: 10 lbs 4.5 oz / 4.66 kg. The neck is dated Aug 26th 1977 and the body is dated July 26th 1977. 2 pots date to mid '77 and 1 to late '76. The truss rod works as intended with plenty of room to move. Nut Width: 42.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret 21 mm.
