1968 Gibson ES-335 TDC, in very good condition. Serial:920200. Weight: 7 lbs 13 oz. This is an all original and gorgeous example of a Gibson ES-335. Supplied in the original case and with 3-months warranty.
The body features a beautiful rich cherry red finish stain and the cream binding is in very good shape front and back. There's play-wear to the body finish, including some buckle rash and a few small dings here and there, but overall its in great condition. The back of the neck has more play wear which has worn through the finish in the first position. The headstock has a few bumps and scrapes mainly around the top edge on the back but nothing major. There are no breaks/cracks or repairs and everything remains structurally sound. The frets are in excellent condition having been cleaned and dressed in our workshop. All hardware & electronics are in excellent working order and the metalwork is still shiny.
This guitar has been fully checked over & set up in our workshop and is an all-round excellent sounding and playing guitar. Set up with a fresh set of D'Addario 10s and a low action allowing for very smooth movement around the fretboard. It has a big rich tone both plugged in and acoustically. Nut width: 40 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22 mm going up to 26.2 mm at the 12th fret. The pots are all correct CTS 500K but no dates are visible due to being covered in solder.
