1966 National Westwood N6416T

1966 National Westwood N6416T in good condition. There are a couple of tears in the tolex and one small area on the top edge has been patched up with material from the bottom of the cab. There's also a little discolouration to the grille cloth. 5W, 2x8" Jensen speakers, four tube chassis, single channel, tremolo, front chrome control panel, two inputs, three knobs (vol, tone, speed) black with random colored stitching covering, Saran light brown/gray grille with National logo in lower right corner, 19.75 in. wide, 14 in. tall, 8.5 in. deep. All pots, transformers and speakers are original and date to 1965. The speaker's date to 66. Supplied with a new step down transformer.

National followed the same model # system as Supro amplifiers, this amp was produced in Chicago's Valco factory, and National was their flagship brand. A very unique and rare amplifier, this Westwood features two original Jensen Alnico 8" speakers and a Class A circuit powered by a single 6V6 tube.

Fully serviced with a 30-day warranty. During the service, my technician added a 3 pin power cord added and death cap removed. Everything else appears to be all original.

Condition Good 8.25/10
Serial Number N6416T
