1959 Magnatone Troubador - Custom 213 in very good condition. It has the original 12" Oxford speaker which dates to late-1959 and is 18w peak. The pots and transformers also date to 59. There is no serial number present so we have dated the amp from the speaker date stamp, pot and transformer date codes.  It's been fully checked over in the workshop and comes with a 30-day warranty and 7-day returns policy. The power rating is 110V and comes supplied with a step-down transformer. It also comes with a new foot-switch.

The Troubadour Model 213 has 2 input channels (each with high & low gain). Two volume controls and one tone for both channels. The cabinet has a few scuffs and small dings, mainly around the edges. The grille cloth is fully intact and clean. The control panel is nice and clean with very little wear. Great amp for gigging, recording, or just using at home.

Magnatones from this series are famed for their amazing vibrato circuit. This amp has a super warm, deep tone with killer sounding overdrive when turned up. The dual 6V6 power tubes deliver punchy, powerful and responsive lows together with chimey highs. When it's cranked it breaks up really nicely.

Whilst on the bench in our workshop we changed the power from a 2 pin to a 3 pin removed the ‘Death Cap’ and fitted an earth tag, tghe circuit is otherwise original. All valve bases cleaned. Control pots cleaned/lubricated. Tested to spec. All tubes are USA or UK made - RCA and Mullards etc.
