1982 Fender AVRI ’57 Precision Bass made in the Fullerton factory, Sunburst finish in excellent condition. All original, including the case. Serial: V002038. Aug '82 neck date. '82 dated pickups and '81 dated pots. Weight: 8 lbs 6.5 oz / 3.81 kg. Nut width:38.5 mm. Depth at 1st fret:21 mm.
A great playing bass and nice and light. Period correct features include a nitrocellulose 2-tone Sunburst finish, maple neck and fingerboard with a soft V profile, Gold anodized pickguard, spaghetti logo, reverse gear tuners and raised A pole piece pickup.
The bass displays light play wear with a few small scuffs and tiny dings, mainly around the edges of the body with a couple on the back of the neck as well as a few on the top edge of the headstock. The finish has lacquer checking throughout. It's been fully set up in our workshop with low action and a fresh set of La Bella 760FL flatwound 43-104 strings.
