1974 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition with an Olympic White Refinish. The tuners are slightly later 70s, the metal covers appear to be newer, there's an added ground wire across the pots, and the jack socket has been changed. All other parts are original. Supplied in a modern Fender hard case.
This is a great Fender P-Bass with a straight neck and original frets, which are in excellent condition, showing very little wear. There are some minor scuffs and dings in the finish, mainly around the edges of the body, but nothing major. The neck is very clean. The headstock has a few minor scuffs along the edges.
This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a medium/low action and is strung with a fresh set of nickel Rotosound round-wound strings. Both pots date to 74. Only the tone pot has a visible week (38th). The volume pot week is covered in solder. Both pickups are date-stamped to 1974. Both have original winds with strong output. Serial number:549374, weight: 9lbs 11.5oz / 4.4 kg. Nut width:41.4 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.5 mm.
